I have been using my iPod in my languages classes for a while now... mostly for songs and to show You Tube videos.In the most recent months, I discovered PODCASTS. Once you open iTunes, click on the Podcast link at the top and you can search your specific language. Here, you can download audio lessons for FREE!
Today... I was just forwarded the following link to iTunesU. WOW! A whole world was unfolded to me! Here you can search any topic and listen to lectures, programs, audio lessons, etc.! I found a few GREAT language lessons through OPEN university which offers free audio lessons that include transcripts that you can download.

What a wonderful tool for the foreign language educator AND parents to use to strengthen their own knowledge of a language and share with your children!
